Acceptance of Terms

By adding the Rec-On Discord bot to your server, using any Rec-On service, or accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Rec-On.

These Terms apply to all users of the service, including Discord server administrators ("Server Owners"), recruiters, and applicants who interact with the bot.

Description of Service

Rec-On provides an automated recruitment management system for Discord servers. The service includes:

• A Discord bot that processes member applications within your server.
• A recruiter code system for tracking and managing applications.
• Audit logging and decision history for all recruitment actions.
• An optional web-based admin panel for license management.

Rec-On is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with reasonable notice.

License & Plans

Access to Rec-On features is governed by your active license plan (Vanta, Nyx, or Orion). Each license is tied to a single Discord server (guild).

• Paid plans (Vanta,Nyx, Orion) are billed monthly and unlock additional features as described on the Pricing page.
• License keys are non-transferable and may not be shared between Discord servers.
• We reserve the right to revoke a license for violation of these Terms, with or without a refund at our discretion.

Payments & Refunds

Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. Payment is processed through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• To cancel, contact us at support@rec-on.online before your next billing date.
• Refunds are provided at our discretion. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact us and we will work to resolve it or issue a prorated refund.
• No refunds are issued for partial months after cancellation.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Rec-On only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use Rec-On to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other Discord users.
• Collect personal data about Discord users beyond what the bot naturally processes for recruitment purposes.
• Circumvent Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Rec-On bot or API.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to Rec-On to third parties.
• Use automated tools to interact with the bot beyond its intended interface.
• Engage in activities that impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your license without refund.

Server Owner Responsibilities

As a Discord Server Owner or Administrator who has added Rec-On to your server, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring your server members are informed that Rec-On collects and processes their Discord user IDs and submitted application data.
• Operating the recruitment process in compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
• Not using recruitment data collected through Rec-On for purposes other than managing server membership.
• Keeping your admin credentials and license keys confidential.

Intellectual Property

Rec-On, including its name, logo, bot code, and website content, is the intellectual property of its operators. You may not use the Rec-On name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

Data you submit through Rec-On (e.g. server names, application data) remains your property. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the service.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rec-On and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits resulting from service interruptions.
• Actions taken by Discord or changes to Discord's platform that affect Rec-On functionality.
• Misuse of the service by server administrators or their members.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service. We will attempt to notify users in advance of planned downtime.

We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by Discord outages, third-party infrastructure failures, or factors outside our control.

Termination

You may terminate your use of Rec-On at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and cancelling your subscription (if applicable).

We may terminate or suspend your access to Rec-On immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your license is revoked and your data will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the bot or email (if provided). Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
